Windmill's and such

I know I blogged yesterday, but it's Sunday afternoon and I wanted to share some pictures with ya'll.
T took me to see a windmill yesterday on our way over to some friends. It's not just any ol' windmill though, this one is really old and is completely forged!

T says that it has a span of 20-25 feet, he couldn't remember which but I had him stand in front of it to see just how big it is. I also thought the sky is really pretty behind it.

This is a leg of the windmill and you can see that there are no welds or anything.

Pretty neat huh? I thought so!

Well, I just had to share and I needed a break from cleaning. (My motivation is still MIA but I've been forcing myself to pick up the house.) T went with the hunters that are here this morning so I was able to get a lot done. I thought we would get to spend the afternoon together, but the hunters came back after dinner and asked if T could go play. So I'm here by myself, trying to get out of cleaning :)

Ya'll have a great week!

  1. Very cool picture! That windmill is huge! Course little T isn't very big, but it is a very big mill.

Sorry he got called away to "play" that is the pits. I remember when we moved out here to NM we still had most of our earthly belongings sitting on the porch and B was called away by the boss to deer hunt for almost a week. Needless to say it didn't go over well with me. I haven't let him ever forget it and it is just a funny story now..but at the time it wasn't.

Hope all are staying warm. We have snow on the ground!
