Awwhaha! I just had to share! Yesterday marked 20 weeks for me, and this morning I woke up to the little one kicking me pretty good and I saw my belly move! It was so exciting! :)
I should contain myself, but I get easily excited about such things! Lately the little one has been doing acrobatics in my belly, moving all over the place and kicking like crazy! T finally got to feel it kick the other day, made him all giggly if you can believe that! :) I can't wait for Novemeber to get here, so we can finally find out what we are having!
Oh, I also thought you might like an update on my aunt. She is doing much better now, still laid up in bed in Colorado but I talked to her on the phone the other day and you couldn't even tell that something was wrong. She has a bladder infection that they are trying to get under control then they are going to try and send her home to Friona. Thank you for all the prayers that have been sent her way! :)
Ok, I have Christmas presents to work on, since I dont' have to motivation to do anything else haha! Ya'll have a great day!

This is what I did yesterday....
No, I wasn't playing Indians & Outlaws, I was participating in the 20th Annual Freestyle Reining!
My song was "Big Iron" by Marty Robbins. I was the ranger in the song, and my friend was the outlaw! Oh and my horse played my trusty steed! She wasn't to happy about the mustache but she performed great for me!
It was a lot of fun getting to see all the different themes and costumes, however some people come up with the crazies things to do! :)
Since I won the saddle last year, I couldn't compete for it again this year. I could compete for reserve champ though which in my opinion is better than champion, And.. I was really hoping to win it. I'll get to that later though. Well, Petie and I placed 2nd in our age group which was the Senior group (My last year to compete as a 4-H member, next year I will be in the adult group.) I won a really cool breast collar which will look good on my saddle :) At first I was half way nervous about winning reserve since I only placed 2nd, but I shouldn't of been. (just for the record, I'm not the kind of person that thinks they are better than everyone else, I only wanted to win reserve champ for one reason, which I'm getting to) Enough babbling! After much anticipation, Champ, and reserve champ were finally awarded, and sure enough, I won reserve. I was thrilled! Now, for the big prize that I had been hoping to win? It was this....
Well anyways, T and I are enjoying a lazy Sunday, so ya'll have a great one too!

2nd Annual Cowgril Gathering and Things
This past weekend was the 2nd annual Cowgirl Gathering that our church puts on, and let me tell ya, it was such a blast! Last year I was fully involved in the planning of the Gathering, but this year I decided to sit back and enjoy it. Of course, I had other things on my mind when they started having the meetings :) This weekend also marks the one year anniversary since I started blogging! Haha!
T was a little upset that I was going to be leaving him for a couple of days, but I was glad to get to spend some time with other women. He did just fine without me! There were about 40 of us this year, which is 10 more than last year. At night, the dining hall was filled with lots of laughter and cheerful voices, mine included! It was really good for me because some of the things that were talked about really hit home in certain areas of my life that I'm struggling with. Prayer was the "theme," of the gathering this year. Anyways, I won't get all sentimental on ya'll, but it was a good time and a refresher for me when it comes to prayer and the Lord! :)
So, going into the gathering, me, my best friend, and our Pastor's wife were the only ones who knew I was expecting. However, leaving the event, all 40 women knew. Someone spilled the beans I don't know who it was yet but it is on longer a surprise! Oh and did I mention that pregnancy was the topic of conversation the whole weekend after everyone found out. Everywhere I turned there were women talking about their experiences and giving advice. I was a little overwhelmed, but it feels good know that more people know.
So with that, I can start blogging about it! Yay!
He loves his dog more than he lets on. Whenever T leaves for work, Cooter whines and tries to jump in his chair.

This is me at 19 weeks along today
People can't believe I'm 19 weeks along and hardly showing at all. I asked my doctor about it and he said because I had such a lean stomach, (I was flattered because I don't think my stomach is very lean) that I wouldn't start to really show until around 26 weeks. I go back to the doctor on the 7th of November and he said that he would order an ultrasound so we can find out what it is! :) I can't wait!
And in other news....
This one is like having a little kid around. Since he barely has any hair, I let Cooter sleep in the house with us. He does pretty good for the most part and gets up about every hour and half to be let out. My mom said it's good practice... Haha! Except for last night of course, I wasn't feeling very good and slept through his whining. It wouldn't have been so bad except that T put him on the bed so guess what, I'm washing bedding today. Let's see, I have shoes missing, and socks, and holes in the bottoms on my pajama pants where he stands that and pulls on my pant leg in the morning. I try putting him outside but Spur just mauls him and is way to rough. T says it's good for him but I feel bad for him because Spur won't even let him walk, he just runs him over and knocks him down.
Button and Cooter at my parents house. She is very protective of him. :)
Well I suppose, I have fall decorating to do today, so ya'll have a great week!

Birthday parties, Puppies, and Rain Storms
If the title didn't tip you off, I've had a busy weekend/Monday!
First of all, we went to a birthday bash Saturday night, and we didn't even know the birthday boy. Claytie Williams has a huge birthday party every year at his home north of Alpine and somehow we got invited. Don't worry, we aren't running with the "big" crowd nowadays. The whole Longfellow ranch got to go. It was fun spending the evening with new friends and getting to relax for a bit. T relaxed a little to much, if you know what I mean and it made me laugh. There was a bunch of people there, most of which I didn't know! There was also the band "The Oak Ridge Boys," who played most of the night.
I thought it was cool how the cloud just opened up and poured rain for like 15 minutes! It was amazing!
Well I'm off to attempt to make supper, ya'll have a great week!

It got cold when the sun went down!!
Second of all, we have found ourselves with another puppy. Another cute one too!
This is Cooter! He is a two month old Catahoula puppy that my parents brought us from Missouri. We love our first puppy Spur but he is not a very good "guard dog." Hopefully he will be a good one!
He zonked out after playing so much!
And thirdly, when I was driving home from work today I saw this little rain storm.
