Is it bad that we decided not to go to church this morning? We are pretty avid church goers and today we just wanted to sleep in, stay home, and vege out. We will be going next weekend though.
I finally got K's nursery picked up, but I haven't finished the projects I wanted to. I did get his curtains done and I don't know if I'm happy with them. Oh well, they are alright for my first set.
Its not much of a kids room, but I'm sure as K gets older there will be more toys and such in the room. My dad told me it looks cozy and inviting so that's good. I left the futon in there in case I end up sleeping in there with him!
Since I don't really have a due date that I'm set on, because they keep changing it, I'm saying that I have anywhere from 10-25 days left. I have had dreams that he will be a leap year baby, and my doctor says I'm due on the 15th of March. It has been the 13th, the 10th, and the 6th.. So you can see why I'm not set on one date :)
In other news, I'm finally enrolled in that online college that I've talked about and I've started my first class: English. I say started, but I'm still waiting on my book to get here. Actually it's in town at the post office, I just have to go get it! I think it will be a good thing and I'm kind of excited about it!
Well Ya'll have a great Sunday! I know we will :)

Sunday Evening Ramblings
Ok, so I was supposed to post this yesterday but I got busy and totally forgot about it.. so here ya go!
Yes it is Sunday evening and I haven't done a rambling post in quiet a while. I'm sure that I could every Sunday but sometimes I don't have time or just don't feel like doing it (I know I'm a slacker...)
Let's see... since my last post I said that I was going to post pictures of K's room when I got it finished... I'm still waiting to get it finished haha! I just don't have very much motivation when it comes to organizing these days and I don't know why. I guess my nesting spell is gone.. So one of these days I will get pictures up.
I've been moved up to having doctor's appointments once a week now, on Mondays. I drive to Marathon for them which is nice, it's closer than driving to Alpine. He said this coming Monday that he would check things and give me a rough estimate as to when I might deliver. (Nothing was really exciting enough to share haha so maybe next week (: ) Thank the Lord! I'm so ready to be unpregnant right now. Besides the constant drowsiness, I ache.. My back, hips, belly.. I guess I'm just getting ready for the K but I'm ready to not ache anymore. The tiredness I can handle for right now, as I'm sure it will stay the same or get worse. Not to mention, K constantly has his feet in my ribs.. making it hard to breath! And... I did something to one of my ribs, I don't know what, but it hurts constantly and I have trouble breathing. Especially when I'm sitting or laying down and have to get up. According to my schedule, Tuesday I will be 37 weeks along, but according to my doctor, I will be 36, so hopefully only a month or less to go! Woo hoo!
What else... This week has kind of been a weird week for me.. with mood swings. But I won't get into that, only because T likes to read my posts and I'm sure he has had enough of them :)
I finally got registered for that online college I mentioned all those weeks or months ago. It's going to be a pretty cool deal I think. I was able to have 4 or my previous college courses transferred which was nice. (I don't have to take algebra again!!) And I signed up for one class, English, just to get the feel of things and see how much I will be able to handle when K gets here.
My parents are in California this week, (without me and T) We wanted to go this year so bad and probably could have but we thought it would be best to stay here, considering how close I am. Maybe next year.
I think that is all that is happening down here in this part of the world. Until next time! Peace!

Superbowl Sunday!
Many of you probably don't know that I am a big football fan! Now I'm not just a die hard fan, but I do enjoy watching it on occasion. Although, there was no point in watching it this season. My favorite team, the Colts, was missing their key player, Peyton Manning (the quarterback,) and I believe they didn't win one single game. So.. I was pretty sad. But I had my back up team, the Giants, who is playing in the superbowl today!
But anyways, this year I am spending my first superbowl with my husband. He, however, is not as big a fan as I am and is currently not thrilled about watching "overpaid men hit each other." But he is being a good sport and letting me watch the game. Although personally I'd rather watch the commercials.
So I woke up this morning with an urge to do some cooking, mainly for the superbowl game tongith, and after a quick trip to town to get groceries, this is what I've come up with.
Cookies!! How doesn't love cookies!! I do and so does T and they were pretty tasty!
I also made sausage cheese dip that has been a superbowl tradition for who knows how long in my family!
And... Jalapeno poppers!! Some of you may know that I cannot handle spicy foods, but I've learned that the longer you cook these babies, the less spicy they are!! :)
Ok, I better get back to watching that game! Ya'll have a great Sunday evening!

Baby Showers and Such
Goodness it has been a long while since I last blogged. Things have been busy around here! I had my last day of work last week, finally. It was getting kind of hard to clean with my belly growing like it is. It's like having a bowling bowl strapped to your belly, try bending over with that! :)
Sunday my Mother and my best friend put on a baby shower for me. It was a great time, of course, I hadn't really been to a baby shower before. It consisted of games, food, and opening of presents.. and let me tell ya! There were a lot of presents. I am very thankful to everyone that came, K has everything he will need when he makes his way into the world! My mom has all the pictures that were taken, otherwise I would put some on here. Maybe next time.
Since they moved my due date again, to March 6th, Tuesday marked 35 weeks for me.
I finally have a belly, or at least I feel like I have a belly. Everyone has said I've had one for a while now, but to me it finally feels like it. Only 5 weeks left, or so and I can't wait!
I have also been excited about decorating K's room for when he gets here! Here is what I've been working on so far.
These are for the curtains I am making for K's room. Don't look to closely at the sewing job. I am still getting used to my new sewing machine that my loving in-laws gave me for my birthday.
Isn't that cool? I'm so proud of myself! That's for the center of the curtain!
T's mother made K a quilt for his crib and I wanted to share it as well! She is pretty talented at quilting and I know that K will love it!
It's so adorable!! :)
Well I have to go feed my belly.. Haha! Ya'll have a great night!
P.S. As soon as K's crib mattress gets here and I get his room finished, I'll take pictures and share! Night!

Wishing things would Hurry Up!
Do I sound impatient? Because I am..
1. T applied for a job, (shuuuushhh though, keep it on the down low please,) and the guy wants to met with him, in a couple of weeks...
I guess I should stop "nesting" and start thinking about something to cook for supper. Thanks for listening to my rambling about!

- I want so badly to start packing my house, even though it's not for sure yet. I've already starting acquiring boxes, cleaning out closets, and throwing useless trash out.
- On the other hand, I want to re-organize my house, but whats the point if there is a move in our future?
- My mother said I'm nesting.. big time.
- So far, his room consists of a dresser, futon, and the saddle I won last year. Not very baby friendly if you ask me.
- There are boxes, some empty and some full of my old baby books, toys, blankets etc, stacked against one wall and in the closet. Oh, and our hunting bows, my "hobby" items, and tubs of stuff my mother keeps giving me.
- I have all these cute ideas that I want to do to decorate his room! But nothing to decorate with yet.
- I'm nearly 32 weeks along, and not very big but my back and hips kill me all day long!
- The last couple of days I've had some weird bug going on which hasn't been very fun, at all. The first day my stomach hurt all day long, as did my back. Then that night I got a bad headache and a fever. But the next day it was gone, except for my stomach hurting. I have no idea whats going on.
- I'm tired of not being able to bend over and pick things up like I used to. My husband thinks it's funny to put things on the floor nowadays... mostly my favorite snack or something I was fixing to grab.
- Oh yea, and I'm just excited to get to met him!
I guess I should stop "nesting" and start thinking about something to cook for supper. Thanks for listening to my rambling about!

Another Year Gone
2011 has come and gone, much to my disbelief. I thought it was a pretty good year over all. I know many people are probably already doing this, but I wanted to recap the past year month by month. So here we go!
January:
September:
November:
This month T celebrated his first birthday as a married man. He turned 22. We spent Thanksgiving with my folks in Alpine and basically had a pretty laid back month!
December:
The snow and baby bumps! I turned 19 this month, and we went to New Mexico to see my in-laws. It snowed and I loved it! Oh and the baby bump picture is me at 30 weeks!
That pretty much sums it up for the year 2011. It was an exciting year for me and everyone else I imagine, and this year will be even better! Happy New Years!!!
January:
This picture was taken in December, 2010 but I thought it was important for January mainly because my wonderful cowboy asked me to marry him. It was on New Year's Eve. I said yes of course and that started a journey that would have many ups and downs for the coming year. I also started my first semester at Sul Ross State University.
February:
Engagement pictures! T's sister came down from New Mexico to take picture for us before she went on her wild adventure overseas. This was on of my favorite pictures that she took. February also was the beginning of making wedding plans, secretly.
March:
March:
This month marked the 2 year anniversary of the Stovell clan making their way to Texas. It seemed like those 2 years just flew by, with many trying moments as well as happy ones in between. Also this month, T was offered to move to a different part of the ranch he worked on, to a camp that was a little more secluded, and had a better house!
April:
Senior pictures! Even though I graduated in December of 2010, I never got any senior pictures taken. So this month that was my goal, and we sure enough got it done. This month was a very trying one for me. After several weeks of bickering and arguing with my parents, a date was finally set for the wedding. And when I mean set, I mean my parents were ok with it. T and I had already had a date in mine ever since we got engaged.
May:
Isn't this just an ere picture? To me it shows how terrifyingly beautiful God has made the world. This was the month of all the really bad fires that occurred down here in West Texas. This was the fire that was so close to the ranch. T and I also bought our first pick-up together this month!
June:
Sadly, I don't have a picture for this month, mainly because it was such a busy, stressful month, planning for a wedding and what not. My mom quit her job at the bank so that she could help plan everything.
July:
My cowboy and I tied the knot on July 22, 2011. It was such a small, family centered wedding out in the middle of no where really. Actually it was at the place where I work now, a small hunting lodge. Afterwards, we spent our honeymoon in San Antonio!
August:
I love this picture, don't you? August was filled with many adjustments, such as moving into a new house, moving away from my family, and getting see my cowboy every day, instead of 2 or 3 days every two weeks! September:
This month we announced that we were expecting. At first, it was a hard decision to make, mostly because it was a shock to us at first, and to our families, but a blessing no less.
October:
Cooter! My parents got T Cooter for his birthday, even though it wasn't until the next month. He is such a cutie in this picture! This month was a relatively slow one. Mostly because I was trying to coop with the fact that my belly was starting to grow.November:

Nothing like a White Christmas!
That's right, it has snowed as most of you probably already know. It didn't really snow that much down in West Texas, but this year T and I went to my in-laws for Christmas in New Mexico. And did it snow there!!
I love this picture! My sis-in-law took it for us.
It was snowing when we got to T's parents place in New Mexico.
I love Hereford bulls so I had to get a picture of one.
We also went sledding and had snowball fights.
Doesn't he look handsome! I thought so too! :)
T's dad made us both a pair of boots for Christmas. I love mine!
I also drew this picture for T's parents. That is a picture of his dad. I'm very proud of this piece, I tried some different techniques and I think they worked!
We had such a fun filled, busy Christmas and I had lots to tell, but I decided it would be better just to post pictures. I think people would rather look at pictures anyways. Hope you enjoyed!
